Actress and producer Lena Dunham has always been an outspoken advocate for abortion, and she recently made a horrid statement in regards to the topic. On her recent Woman of the Hour podcast labeled “Choice,” she made the following remark:
“Now I can say that I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had.”
For anyone to wish they could become pregnant and then terminate that child’s life just to prove a point of how pro-choice they really are is insane. Dunham gives credit to her mother for her extreme views and says that her mom taught she and her siblings to say “‘anti-choice’ instead of ‘pro-life’ because she wanted to make sure that we knew that everyone is pro-life. Some people are anti-choice.”
Dunham cannot validate her mother’s statement, because it makes no sense. If everyone were pro-life, there would be no abortions. Period. She is simply trying to make pro-life individuals seem narrow-minded and intolerant, when the truth is that left-leaning antics like Dunham’s are actually intolerant.
The actress has long been a supporter (and recently media partner) of Planned Parenthood, our nation’s largest abortion provider. The organization carries out over 320,000 of the procedures every single year. Remember that Planned Parenthood relies on numerous corporate supporters to succeed. Many major corporations that you shop with everyday donate to Planned Parenthood either directly or through third party groups. Check out our research page here to find out which companies are behind the abortion giant. If we work together, we can begin to make a change.
