National Day of Prayer

Today is the National Day of Prayer, an annual observance inviting those of all faiths to pray for the nation. Signed into law by President Truman in 1952, the day continues the call to prayer through our history, from the first call to prayer when the first Continental Congress asked the colonies to pray for wisdom in forming a nation to today.  Our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions, and the National Day of Prayer serves as a reminder of our nation’s heritage.

Please join us today in praying for our nation and our leaders!
