Nashville, TN – 2ndVote, the conservative watchdog for corporate activism, released the following statement on the corporate support for the anti-2nd Amendment “March for Our Lives” protest in Washington, DC:
Once again, the radical left, enabled by corporate allies, are exploiting a tragedy in order to advance their agenda. The so-called “March for Our Lives” is not the spontaneous grassroots movement it portrays itself to be. The event is an initiative of the well-funded, Bloomberg-backed “Everytown for Gun Safety” and tied to professional activist Shannon Watts.
By lending their support, companies like American Eagle, Aetna, Gucci, and Lyft are aligning their brands with the left’s misinformation campaign and using corporate dollars to demonize guns and gun owners and ultimately undermine the 2nd Amendment.
