Kellogg’s Cereal for Breakfast? The Dollars You Spend Could Be Going to Soros-Backed Leftists

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation owns almost 20% of the Kellogg Company. It was established by company founder Will Keith Kellogg, a Seventh-day Adventist who wanted the money he set aside for charity to “promote the health, happiness and well-being of children.”

However, recently uncovered documents show the Kellogg’s original intent for his foundation has be usurped by leftist political ideologues.

The Washington Free Beacon has found the W.K. Kellogg Foundation contributed $3,000,000 to the Center for Community Change, “a prominent anti-Trump ‘resistance’ organization.” In 2016, the center helped organize the “Families Fight Back” campaign during the 2016 presidential elections to mobilize Latino voters in response to then-candidate Trump’s positions on immigration policy. The center also supported United We Dream, a “sanctuary campus” advocate, in protests of Trump’s inauguration.

Other donors to the Center for Community Change, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and its 501(c)(4) political arm, the Center for Community Change Action, identified by the Free Beacon include the Ford Foundation on George Soros’s Open Society Foundation.

2ndVote’s research has found the National Football League Players Association and Planned Parenthood have also contributed to this leftist organization.

According to Breitbart News, the of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s $9.1 billion in assets, only $3.3 million are diversified stock investments that are not tied to the Kellogg Company. Furthermore, the foundation’s CEO and another trustee sit on the Kellogg Company’s board of directors.

The Kellogg Company (1.3 – Liberal) itself is one of the most liberal corporations in 2ndVote’s database. For example, the company has contributed to the pro-sanctuary city activists at UnidosUS, formerly La Raza, and has also joined a business coalition that advocates for a nationwide sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) accommodation mandate.

However, there’s also an alternative for conservatives who don’t want to support leftist causes with their cereal purchases. Post Foods the maker of cereals under the Post brand like Grape-Nuts, Fruity Pebbles, Shredded Wheat, and more is rated Neutral (3) on all the issues meaning this company doesn’t send corporate dollars to help fund the liberal agenda.

Being a veteran of this country since Vietnam, and going to The Gulf War.
I am willing to boycott all of the companies involved.

Time to stop advertising for these over paid thugs Kelloggs! When you pay them money or advertise with the NFL, you are showing disrespect as well!

  • Jarhead

Another NFL advertiser to boycott until they become Americanized once again.

I stopped eating their ground up sawdust cereals years ago!

My wife and I are very careful not to buy Kellogg’s brand products.
There are so many other brand cereals that are better and don’t pander to the left.
    Don’t give them your money.
You have so many better options.
